You will need to install Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) on your desktop/laptop and enter your Adobe ID. ADE is a free program used to view and manage your purchased eBooks on your computer.

You will also need to authorize ADE with your Adobe ID. Your Adobe ID can also be used to authorize any mobile devices you are using. If you have not already created your free Adobe ID you can do so here.

Downloading and Reading Koorong eBooks:

Once you have selected and purchased your Koorong eBooks online you will be presented with a confirmation page and a link for each eBook you have purchased. The link will also be emailed to you or can be accessed through your Koorong Account at Koorong.com.

Simply click on the appropriate link and, when prompted, select 'Open' the file (do not select 'Save'). The eBook should download automatically into ADE and can then be accessed and read through this program.

Note: You may notice that the download link is for an .acsm file rather than an ePub file. There has been some confusion about this file type as the .acsm is not your actual eBook. It is just a link to your eBook that allows a program like Adobe Digital Editions or Bluefire Reader to download the actual book.
