After the enormous success of the Christ Files DVD, John Dickson at the Centre for Public Christianity has produced a major new resource, the Life of Jesus DVD and Guidebook.

Just in time for Easter, this six-part historical biography leads the viewer around Israel to tell the account of Jesus' life, death and resurrection, from Bethlehem to Golgotha and beyond.

Filmed on location, Life of Jesus introduces believers and sceptics alike to the first-century world of Jesus, what he taught and the key events in his life.

A one-hour version of the documentary will be screened nationally on Channel 7 on Good Friday 2009.

The two-DVD set also takes us 'Behind the Life of Jesus' in a series of on-location conversations between Greg Clarke and John Dickson about key questions that arise from Jesus' life - Does God exist? Why is there evil in the world? What about other religions? Are miracles possible? and many more.

With the addition of a Life of Jesus Guidebook this historical DVD is transformed into a potentially life-changing course. In six easy-to-follow sessions, groups or individuals will be guided through the documentary, read the Gospel of Luke and participate in a set of practical studies designed to highlight the ongoing significance of Jesus' life.
