'Be still, and know that I am God.'
The world that we are living in today is so muddled and upside down. If we don't find the peace of God that passes all understanding, we are not goingto make it.
Ps 46:10 says, 'Be still, and know that I am God.'
Friends, how are you feeling today? Are you feeling at ease or are you feeling tense and so tightly wound up that you feel like you're going to explode.We really need to learn how to hear from God. We need to spend time in His presence. When we learn to spend time in His presence, we start to hear correctly.
Jesus said, 'Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.' (Mt 11:28). Jesus continually told his disciples to come apart and rest a while. To spend time apart from the crowds and to rest. Surely if Jesus told His disciples this, then we should do the same. We need to learn to listen to God voice.
Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying,"This is the way, walk in it," Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left. By doing this our strength will be renewed. (Is 30:21) And ten chapters later, Isaiah said, 'But those who wait on the Lords hall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.'
