At the end of the day, Ronnie prays to Jesus and tells Him he tried to get his glove to Him. That night he dreams that Jesus thanks him for his gift and explains that feeding the homeless man, spending time with a lonely friend, and giving a balloon to a girl who can't afford one, were all gifts to Jesus and quotes Matthew 25:40:
'And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.'
When Ronnie wakes up, he takes his glove to someone who always wanted to play baseball but didn't have his own glove, and that night he prays, 'Dear Jesus, I hope you liked the glove.'
