A small format version of this popular game. Choose your Pilgrim character and set off from the City of Destruction. Beware of landing on despair cards as they will slow your journey to the Celestial City. Draw a progress card and you will gain advantages over the terrors that await on the journey - terrifying monsters, horrible giants, a cruel judge, raging lions and scary dark places. You will meet good friends and advisors along the way, such as the Evangelist, Help, Goodwill, Faithful and many more, as you make your way to the Celestial City and your true home.
Boardgame components: Playing board, dice, 34 playing cards, 16 Pilgrim's Progress, 18 Pilgrim's Despair, 4-6 players each with their own 'Christian'; Free standing characters; Christian meets on his journey; The Worldly Wiseman; The Evangelist; Judge Hate-good; Apolloyon; Model of Celestial City to be completed and put in place by winner.
