Bruce Dipple
So who is Bruce Dipple? Well, after being a Baptist pastor in NSW for several years, he moved with his family to France to learn French. This was preparation for working in Niger, French West Africa, as Principal of a Bible College that had students from several French-speaking countries in the region. He was then based in Australia for a decade as the Australia/East Asia Director of SIM. From there he moved to a teaching role in mission at Sydney Missionary and Bible College, where he currently continues as a Ministry Associate. His SMBC Ministry Associate role involves preaching in churches and at mission conferences, and in running training seminars and consulting with local churches concerning the development of the global aspects of their ministry.
This pilgrimage has developed a particular interest in and commitment to the role of the local church in global mission. It is this interest that provides the framework for much of his current ministry.
