Lissa Halls Johnson


Lissa Halls Johnson is an accomplished writer and editor of dozens upon dozens of Christian books. She created the original Brio Girls series in 2001-2005. She enjoys speaking and coaching writers. She has spoken at the Mount Hermon Christian Writers Conference and the Sandy Cove Christian Writers Conference, among numerous other events.


Jim Ware


Jim Ware is a longtime book enthusiast who grew up savoring childhood classics like Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn, and The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood. He is a graduate of UCLA (B.A. in Classics - Latin and Greek Language and Literature) and Fuller Theological Seminary (M.A. in Biblical Studies with special emphasis on Semitic Languages). Jim is also the author of several childrens novels and co-author of Finding God in the Lord of the Rings; Shedding Light on His Dark Materials; Finding God in the Land of Narnia; and Finding God in Amazing Grace. He is a Celtic musician, a storyteller, and an amateur folklorist. A native of Southern California, he now lives in Colorado with his wife and six children.
