Kerry Medway
For 17 years Kerry was the Senior Pastor of Grace Church in Port Macquarie NSW, an independent church that has grown to 500 members and impacted the town. Prior to that, as an Anglican minister, he served in churches at Moree and Tingha in NSW, and established a church at the Coober Pedy opal fields that saw over one hundred miners and their families come to Christ.
Originally from Gunning, near Goulburn NSW, Kerry worked in various Commonwealth Bank branches. He was converted to Christ while based at Wollongong, through the ministry of St Michael's Anglican pro-cathedral. He felt a call to the ministry, and gained his HSC through night-school, left the bank, and obtained his Diploma in Theology from Moore College.
Kerry has written a number of books, the most popular being Bush Preacher Bites The Dust with over 16,000 copies sold. His other titles include Teenage Bushranger and Desperate. Kerry has been married to Julie for 40 years, has three daughters, three sons-in-law, and three grandchildren. He is a highly popular and entertaining speaker.
