Original Liberty features brothers Nathan (lead singer) and Samuel Shooter (guitars), plus Neil Whitehead (bass). Like Thirsty Merc and The Reels, this Dubbo based band presents energetic live performances that consistently attract a strong following along Australia's east coast.
As young musicians, the band members knew the excitement that came with performing and writing, and soon they realised that through time and experience, their sound could be fashioned into something dynamic and significant. After returning from a USA trip with friends, founding members Nathan Shooter and Samuel Shooter produced their EP 'Glow' in 2004. They then continued to develop and fine-tune their sound, performing regularly at festivals and events around the nation with the third member, Neil Whitehead. Two years later, the band begun preparing for the production their debut album Counting Down the Days, which was released in November 2008.
