Author and pastor Cynthia Boykin teaches readers about how we carry God's purpose and plan for our life. We should not abort His promises in tough times, because we carry the dream inside, until one day God can bring the purpose to pass in His perfect timing. An analogy of a mother elephant taking two years before she births a newborn is used to show us patience and bring out how God's plan that is birthed in us may take longer than we expect or want.
Join Pastor Cynthia Boykin as she explores eight different kinds of faith, including what she calls "elephant faith," Elijah, Joseph, Abraham, and David faith. In each chapter, she reveals the kind of faith we need to overcome tough situations, how patience can be obtained, what it takes to have courage, and the faith we need to purposefully move through life reaching out to others, touching others, and comforting others. For those who feel their faith has slipped in our demand-it-now society, Cynthia offers ways to restore and improve your faith to the previous level and beyond. The first step is to learn to trust God.
