James P Eckman

James P. Eckman (Ph.D., University of Nebraska-Lincoln) serves as President as well as Professor of Theology, Ethics, and History at Grace University in Omaha, Nebraska. In addition to hosting a weekly radio program, "Issues in Perspective," he lectures widely on postmodern-era implications for the Christian community. In addition, Dr. Eckman is an ordained minister, having served on the staff of two Pennsylvania churches. He is a recognized scholar in historical theology with expertise on the American church and revivalismHe is the author of four books Biblical Ethics: Choosing Right in a World Gone Wrong, Exploring Church History, Exploring Church History: A Guide to History, World Religions, and Ethics and The Truth About Worldviews: A Biblical Understanding of Worldview Alternatives, and more than four dozen magazine articles and performs dramatic monologues on figures from Church History including Martin Luther, John Calvin, Augustine, and Jonathan Edwards.
