"I regret not having been in Romania when Ceaushescu was judged. I would have volunteered to defend him."Richard Wurmbrand spent fourteen years in Communist prisons. Since then he has endured 25 years of exile. From Suffering to Triumph describes his return to his beloved homeland, and the astonishing situation he found there. There are many tragedies and much heartbreak, but also abundant evidence of God's transforming power. For Richard Wurmbrand himself the issue is not revenge but the proclamation of Christ's love. Why did Ceaushescu act as he did? Pastor Wurmbrand's answer is simple: "Ask yourselves if you have done your utmost to share with the Communists the teaching of Jesus...may we all learn the beautiful art of forgiveness."
