David M. Howard, Jr., is professor of Old Testament at Bethel Theological Seminary and is the author of An Introduction to the Old Testament Historical Books and Joshua in the New American Commentary series. He was the president of the Evangelical Theological Society in 2002-2003.

Grisanti (Ph.D., Dallas Theological Seminary) is associate professor of Old Testament at The Master's Seminary in Sun Valley, CA, a contributor to the New International Dictionary of Old Testament Theology and Exegesis and Missions in a New Millennium, and the editor of The Bible Version Debate.
