Why should we give to God? How can we best do it? How much should we give? Is tithing a requirement for Christians? Should our generosity extend to the needy - and to what level? To what degree is our spiritual condition, and that of our fellow-Christians, reflected by our giving? This book explores these vital questions and draws together seven inter-related and easily remembered biblical principles of Christian giving.
Through a series of reflections from both Old and New Testaments, activities, probing questions and anecdotes, you are invited to encounter God in fresh ways. You can step up to new levels in your relationship with God - and with others.
Giving to God - A response of Love will be useful for churches about to embark on stewardship or planned giving programs: in home study groups; as a source of sermon ideas; or for reflection following sermons on Christian giving.
