The course booklet, written by Canon David Winter includes questions aimed at provoking wide-ranging discussion. Each group needs 1 copy of the course audio, plus a course booklet for each member. In addition many groups find the transcript, which cross-references to the tracks on the recorded material, invaluable.
Canon David Winter is a writer and broadcaster. He is also one of the editors for the People's Bible Commentary series and has written a number of books for BRF including After the Gospels, With Jesus in the Upper Room, Hope in the Wilderness and most recently The Pilgrim's Way. He is also a contributor to BRFs New Daylight Bible reading notes.
Stephen Cottrell is Bishop of Reading and, within that role is Chair of the Diocesan Board of Education. He enjoys telling stories about Naughty Nora in many schools across the Diocese. Stephen has a wealth of experience in building up the faith of the worshipping community and helping to develop mission and ministry. He is author of many books and has written widely on evangelism. He is also one of the contributors to the Emmaus course.
David Wilkinson (Ph.D., Durham University in theoretical Astrophysics; Ph.D in Theology) is a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and Principal of St John's College, Durham. He is author of God, the Big Bang and Stephen Hawking, The Message of Creation (Bible Speaks Today Themes), Holiness of Heart, The Power of Force: The Spirituality of the Star Wars Films and Christian Eschatology and the Physical Universe.
