In the fast-paced lives we lead it can be difficult to fully sit, read, and study a book in its' entirety. Hope for Today offers self-contained, bite-sized chapters for those battling fertility issues, or who've lost a little one at any time from conception. Despite the heartache, the frustration, anger, and disappointment you may be experiencing; regardless of the grief, pain, and sorrow, the highs and lows, and the uncertainty, Hope for Today will remind you that you are absolutely not forgotten, not forsaken, and certainly not unloved. On the contrary, you are the apple of a loving Father's eye. He will never leave you nor forsake you. He knows and sees and understands .... even when we do not.

"With fertility rates falling and miscarriages rates rising more and more people are struggling to have children. From out of her own experience Catherine has written this honest book, full of God centred thinking and overflowing with insights, to help those who are involved in this deep and often private struggle. Her meditations are heartfelt, helpful and hopeful. May they bring God's light into darkness."
- Revd. Canon J. John (The Philo Trust, UK)

"Catherine's words and insights will help many traverse the often unpredictable path of conceiving and giving birth. For in truth, you can only lead others where you yourself have been. I recommend this book to you."
- Ps. Chris Pringle (C3 Oxford Falls, Sydney, Australia)

"Focus on the Family is so incredibly grateful for the energy and efforts of Catherine Sylvester. We support and appreciate the work and writing she does in the area of infertility and loss through miscarriage. With so many couples affected by these issues, books such as A Common Thread and Hope for Today encourage and offer a huge amount of hope to so many.
Catherine not only draws from her own experiences, as the content of these books can only truly be learned through the "school of life", but we feel that she is now a leading communicator in this field. And what's more, she does all this bravely, with honestly, and with humor."
- Tim Sisarich (Executive Director, Focus on the Family NZ)

PRODUCT DETAIL

Catherine Sylvester

Catherine Sylvester was born in New Zealand, and has lived in Australia, the USA, and most recently the UK. After spending seven years in television and radio as a presenter and actress, she found herself faced with the heartbreak of miscarriage and fertility issues. It was within this time, between her third and fourth miscarriage that she felt led to start Thursday's Babies (www.thursdaysbabies.com) a ministry to offer hope to others, where it had seemingly been lost in the area of fertility issues. Out of this, A Common Thread came to be.Catherine also presents evenings specifically for couples with fertility issues, named A Night of Hope and she is passionate about sharing the love and redemption that a kind and gracious Father lavishes upon us. He has certainly brought her through many dark and painful times in her life, and she loves to speak about His faithfulness to others.
