As children of God, we are called to be strong soldiers of Christ. Yet churches are full of Christians who have not grasped the power God desires for them--the same power that filled the apostles as they preached to thousands and healed the sick. In this book, R.A. Torrey explains that God has provided reservoirs or power for His children. The Father is inviting you to drink of His might. Set aside your weakness, and claim certainty instead of doubt. Surrender yourself to God, and live in His power.

Moody and was the first superintendent of the Moody Bible Institute (1889 - 1908). He wrote numerous devotional and theological books, including What the Bible Teaches, How to Work for Christ, and The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit.
