1998 GOLD MEDALLION WINNER Billy Graham has touched the hearts and souls of millions with his message of faith. Now, for the first time ever, Dr. Graham tells his life story in a momentous work of insight. Hailed as the world's preacher, his calling as an Evangelist has taken him to every nation, from Europe to Asia, from major capitals to the most remote outposts. His Crusades have spanned fifty years, and he has been part of history in the making and friend to every president since Eisenhower. A pioneer in social issues (he refused to preach to segregated audiences in the South), he has led by his extraordinary example of integrity. In Just As I Am, Billy Graham looks back at it all with down-to-earth warmth and candor-remembering his dairy farm upbringing, his early preaching experiences, and the overwhelming international response to his public ministry based on his unshakable belief in Christ. This is an inspiring story of how a man of God grew into a man of great influence. Examining his life and ministry from the wise and humble perspective that has made him one of the world's most beloved and respected leaders, Billy Graham's Just As I Am is an unforgettable portrait that will be treasured by readers everywhere.

Billy Graham is truly the world's pastor. In five decades, he has led his ministry around the globe, speaking in person to more than 200 million people. Yet his message has remained singular and strong, as he continually implores his audience to "choose Christ, as I did".At 78, Graham now looks back on an incredible lifetime of personal relationships, whirlwind activity, ministry, leadership, and influence. In his warm and unassuming voice, he shares the stories of his beginnings in the church, and the overwhelming ministry he has had spreading the word of God as an evangelist. He describes the tolls this lifestyle took on his family -- and credits his remarkable wife, Ruth, for their tremendous accomplishments together.Graham speaks of his embarrassing beginnings with Harry S. Truman, and friendships and associations with every U.S. president since Eisenhower, including anecdotes and behind-the-scenes drama of the nation's chosen leaders. In "Just As I Am", Billy Graham shares how he came from ordinary beginnings to have an extraordinary life of influence, all derived from his unshakable belief in Christ.

Billy Graham

Hailed as the world's preacher, the late Billy Graham had a career spanning over half a century. He preached the Gospel to more people in a live-audience format than anyone else in history - more than 210 million people, in more than 185 countries and territories through various meetings, including Mission World and Global Mission.

Born William Franklin Graham, Jr. in Charlotte, North Carolina, 17 November 1918, he entered the ministry in 1943 and soon began conducting evangelistic crusades. In 1950, he founded The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, which has sponsored crusades and produced radio and television programs as well as films.

Dr. Graham wrote many books, a number of which became bestsellers. His autobiography, Just As I Am, published in 1997, achieved a "triple crown", appearing simultaneously on the three top best-seller lists in one week.

Dr. Graham passed away 21 February 2018.
