Roy Lessin is a Jewish believer who came to Jesus Christ as his Messiah and Savior at the age of nineteen. As a new believer, Roy attended Bethany Fellowship Bible School (Bethany College of Missions) in Minneapolis. Minnesota. It was here that Roy met his wife, Charlene. Roy was ordained after his graduation and served as a Christian Education Director and Youth Leader at College Avenue Presbyterian Church in Oakland, California. Roy and Charlene also spent time on the mission field, serving in both Mexico and Puerto Rico. In 1971 Roy became one of the founders of DaySpring Greeting Cards where he served as senior writer for thirty-seven years. In addition to writing and creating hundreds of greeting cards over the years, Roy has written over 40 gift and devotional books, including Jesus, Name Above All Names and the award-winning book, Forgiven. Presently, Roy is an active speaker and Bible teacher and continues to bring the heart of God to others through his writing ministry.
