Robert E Webber (Ed)

Robert E. Webber (1933-2007) was Myers Professor of Ministry at Northern Seminary in Lombard, Illinois, and served as the president of the Institute for Worship Studies. His many books include in five vomes in the Ancient-Future series: Faith; Evangelism, Divine Embrace, Time & Embrace, Worship is a Verb and The Younger Evangelicals.

Dan Kimball

Dan Kimball is the author of several books including The Emerging Church and popular They Like Jesus But Not The Church (Zondervan). He is one of the pastors of Vintage Faith Church, a missional church planted for engaging the post-Christian culture in Santa Cruz, CA.
He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry from George Fox Evangelical Seminary where he also serves as Adjunct Faculty. Dan speaks extensively around the country on emerging church and culture issues as well as using the arts in worship. He serves on the editorial advisory boards for Youthworker Journal; Outreach Magazine and REV! Magazine.

Mark Driscoll

Pastor Mark Driscoll founded Mars Hill Church in Seattle in the fall of 1996, which has grown to over 6,000 people in one of America's least churched cities. He co-founded and is president of the Acts 29 Church Planting Network, which has planted over one hundred churches in the U.S. and internationally.
The Resurgence Missional Theology Cooperative Outreach magazine has recognized Mars Hill Church as the ninth most innovative and fifteenth fastest-growing church in America. His writing includes the books The Radical Reformission: Reaching Out Without Selling Out, Confessions of a Reformission Rev.: Hard Lessons from an Emerging Missional Church. He also contributed to the book Listening to the Beliefs of Emerging Churches. His most recent publications are Vintage Jesus: Timeless Answers to Timely Questions and Death by Love: Letters from the Cross.

John Burke

John Burke and his wife, Kathy, founded Gateway Church in Austin, Texas, in 1998. Since then, Gateway has grown to over 3,000 people, 70 percent of whom are in their twenties and thirties, and consists mostly of unchurched people who began actively following Christ at Gateway. Burke is also the author of No Perfect People Allowed: Creating a Come-as-You-Are Culture in the Church and Soul Revolution He has contributed the chapter "The Emerging Church and Incarnational Theology" in Listening to the Beliefs of Emerging Churches.

Doug Pagitt

Doug Pagitt (M.A. Bethel Seminary) is pastor of Solomon's Porch in Minneapolis. He is part of the leadership of Emergent: a generative friendship among missional Christian leaders. Doug is married to Shelley and they are parents of four children, and is author of Preaching Re-Imagined, Church Re-Imagined, and BodyPrayer. His forthcoming book is A Christianity Worth Believing, it approaches theological questions in personal and engaging ways, addressing topics such as God, Jesus, sin, the Bible, humanity, church, and the Kingdom of God. Rather than rehashing old debates and categories, it offers new insights, provocative possibilities, and hopeful alternatives.
