James Alison

James Alison is a Catholic theologian, priest, and author. Born in London, he studied with the Dominicans at Oxford and obtained his doctorate from the Jesuit Theology Faculty in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Currently he lives in So Paulo, Brazil, but his work involves frequent travel, giving talks and lectures, preaching and accompanying retreats. For SPCK he is the author of Knowing Jesus (1993) and Raising Abel (2010).
