Scot Mcknight

Scot McKnight (Ph.D., University of Nottingham) is the Karl A. Olsson Professor in Religious Studies at North Park University. Prior to joining the NPU faculty in 1994, he was a professor at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He has written widely on the historical Jesus, Christian spirituality, and the Emerging Church. One of McKnight's more popular books, The Jesus Creed, won the Christianity Today's book award for 2004 in the area of Christian living. McKnight's blog, JesusCreed.org, has been a popular site for Emerging Church discussion.
His other publications include: The Real Mary: Why Evangelical Christians Can Embrace the Mother of Jesus; Praying with the Church: Following Jesus Daily, Hourly, Today; Jesus and His Death: Historiography, the Historical Jesus, and Atonement Theory; Embracing Grace: A Gospel for All of Us; Turning to Jesus: The Sociology of Conversion in the Gospels; The Story of the Christ, with Philip Law; and 1 Peter and Galatians in NIV Application Commentary.


His most recent publications include The Blue Parakeet: Rethinking How You Read the Bible and James (New International Commentary on the New Testament).

Janet Nygren is currently the Women's Ministry Coordinator for the Princeton Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Princeton, NJ.

Karen H Jobes

Karen H. Jobes is the Gerald F. Hawthorne Professor of New Testament Greek and Exegesis at Wheaton College. She is the author of many articles and several books, including The NIV Application Commentary: Esther.

Tremper Longman (Iii)

Tremper Longman III (Ph.D., Yale University) is Robert H. Gundry Professor of Biblical Studies at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California. He is also Visiting Professor of Old Testament at Mars Hill Graduate School, Westminster Theological Seminary and adjunct at Fuller Theological Seminary.
He is the author of commentaries on The Book of Job and Proverbs (Baker Commentary on the Old Testament Wisdom and Psalms); Exodus (The Two Horizons Old Testament Commentary) and Jeremiah, Lamentations (New International Biblical Commentary), Daniel (New Internatuional Version Application Commentary), Ecclesiastes and Song of Songs (New International Commentary on the Old Testament/ Cornerstone Commentary).


Longman is the author of How to Read Genesis; How to Read the Psalms; How to Read Proverbs; How to Read Exodus and Literary Approaches to Biblical Interpretation, and co-editor of A Complete Literary Guide to the Bible and co-author with Dan Allender of Bold Love, Cry of the Soul, Intimate Allies; The Intimate Mystery and The Intimate Marriage Bible Studies.
