Frank Thielman

Frank S. Thielman (Ph.D., Duke University) is Presbyterian Professor of Divinity at Beeson Divinity School, Samford University, in Birmingham, Alabama. He is the author of a number of books, including Romans (Zondervan Exegetical Commentary); Ephesians (Baker Exegetical Commentary on the New Testament);Philippians (NIVAC); Paul and the Law: A Contextual Approach; From Plight to Solution: A Jewish Framework for Understanding Paul's View of the Law in Galatians and Romans; The Law in the New Testament: Questions and Commentary; and Theology of the New Testament: A Canonical and Synthetic Approach. He is also an ordained Presbyterian (PCA) minister.

Michael W. Holmes (Ph.D., Princeton Theological Seminary) is professor of biblical studies and early Christianity at Bethel College.

David E Garland

David Garland, Ph.D. (Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is William B. Hinson professor of Christian Scriptures and associate dean for academic affairs at George W. Truett Seminary, Baylor University. He is the New Testament editor for the revised Expositor's Bible Commentary and the Zondervan Exegetical Commentary of which he is writing the inaugural volume on The Gospel of Luke. He is the author of various books and commentaries, including Mark (an award winner) and Colossians/Philemon in the NIV Application Commentary, the article on Mark in the Zondervan Illustrated Bible Backgrounds Commentary, 2 Corinthians in the New American Commentary, 1 Corinthians in the Baker Exegetical Commentary of the New Testament which was highly awarded. He and his wife, Diana, with whom he has co-authored a number of titles on family and ministry, reside in Waco, Texas.

Scot Mcknight

Scot McKnight (Ph.D., University of Nottingham) is the Karl A. Olsson Professor in Religious Studies at North Park University. Prior to joining the NPU faculty in 1994, he was a professor at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He has written widely on the historical Jesus, Christian spirituality, and the Emerging Church. One of McKnight's more popular books, The Jesus Creed, won the Christianity Today's book award for 2004 in the area of Christian living. McKnight's blog, JesusCreed.org, has been a popular site for Emerging Church discussion.
