Following the same plan as the close expositional commentary on Romans, these chapter-by-chapter studies using the NIV text note important structural, cultural, and language features of the Psalms, but the goal is in-depth meaning and twentieth-century applications.

Reading the Psalms through the window of this commentary impresses the reader that our cries of need and whispers of worship are still heard by the Father to whom David sang.

PSALMS: AN EXPOSITIONAL COMMENTARY accents the spiritual riches of the Psalter and establishes the point of convergence between the modern reader and the ancient songs of God's people. It is written for personal meditation and for fruitful teaching and preaching.
