Return to Glory will challenge everything you were ever taught about human history

Beginning with a careful documentation of the ways God entrusted people of African descent with the initial development of civilized societies, Return to Glory then directs its readers on a magnificent tour of life in America through the triumphant stories of contemporary African-Americans. These pages are filled with the glorious contributions to the development and enhancement of world culture by the black race.

"Return to Glory offers young people an opportunity to see history and themselves in a new light. By exposing the deceptions that we have come to accept as truth, Joel Freeman and Don Griffin challenge young people to think about who they are and what life is truly about."         --Bill Cosby, Entertainer and Educator

"Return to Glory packs a powerful punch. It's a must-read for the youth today. It tells it like it is from the root to the fruit. It's a true champion."      --Smokin' Joe Frazier, Boxing Champion

Joel Freeman and Don Griffin have dared to navigate those of us who really care about truth through the often unchartered water of race and healing. This well-written collaborative effort will do much to fill the void that is keeping a community from reaching its full God-given potential."       --Dr. Tony Evans, Senior Pastor, Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship

JOEL FREEMAN, Ph.D has his degree in counselling and served as mentor/chaplain for the NBA's Washington Wizards for 19 years. He is president of The Freeman Institute in Severn, Maryland and facilitates many seminar programs, including the popular "Dealing With People Who Drive You Crazy!", "A White Man's Journey Into Black History", "Diversity: The Value of Mutual Respect" and "When Strangling Someone Is Not An Option." As a husband and father of four children, Freeman has also authored four other internationally acclaimed bestsellers. Freeman facilitates seminars with leaders in the Federal Judiciary, music, and entertainment industries, corporations, government agencies and heads of state of other nations.

DON GRIFFIN, M.A. is an accomplished human resources executive, an ordained minister, author, teacher, and counselor. He has coauthored the groundbreaking work entitled Return to Glory, and The Powerful Stirring of the Black Man. He holds a bachelor's degree in history from Lafayette College, a master's degree in biblical counseling from Trinity Theological Seminary, is a Ph.D. candidate in conflict management, and is a certified behavioral analyst/consultant. He has been an athlete most of his life and is a loving and committed husband and father.
