More and more North American Christians have contact with Buddhists, but few Christians understand their beliefs well enough to converse with this group. The author, an Indian now living and teaching at a Bible college in the United States, helps readers understand the unique aspects of this religion and gives clear, practical pointers on sharing the Gospel with Buddhists. The book is also helpful for missionaries or short-termers in cultures where Buddhism is practiced.

With Buddhism's influence increasing across North America, you may have Buddhist co-workers, neighbors, or friends. How do you share the Gospel with people whose religion is unfamiliar to you? Madasamy Thirumalai grew up in India and as a student was influenced and drawn to Buddhas teachings. A believer in Jesus for over twenty years, he brings his life experience and his study of the fourth-largest world religion together in this thorough resource. In Sharing Your Faith With a Buddhist, he explains the historical background of Buddhism, its beliefs and practices in many nations, the various types of Buddhism, and the key differences between Christianity and Buddhism. The practical tools and help on how to reach Buddhists with the good news of Jesus make this an effective resource for evangelism both in the United States and abroad. Book jacket.
