What is Faith? How can we understand it and so, live by it? In this new study guide from his ToolBox series, Ron Kallmier, explores this essential characteristic of effective Christian living. Discover how a living faith calls for practical action and unlocks the ability to look beyond current changing circumstances to the unchanging faithfulness of God Himself. By dividing the subject into four key areas: Part One: Faith Foundations, Part Two: Faith Builders, Part Three: Faith Challenges, Part Four: Faith's Benefits - Ron aims to help each reader build a faith that not only survives but also thrives through the inevitable joys and trials of everyday living. Designed to instil and develop a clearer understanding of faith, this guide contains sections for personal reflection, group study, application and more.

PRODUCT DETAIL

Ron Kallmier

Ron Kallmier, the Director of Training for CWR, is an experienced Australian teacher, counsellor and pastor. A graduate of Sydney & Macquarie Universities in Sydney, he has served as a high school pastor, teacher and counsellor, and as a denominational leader when, for ten years, he was Director of Christian Education and Youth Ministry in NSW. Before his first term as Senior Tutor with CWR in 1998-2000, Ron conducted a private counselling practice in Sydney at DaySpring Church, where, on his return to Sydney, he served as one of the pastoral team for five years, until returning to CWR early in 2006. His background in teaching at primary, secondary and tertiary levels, and his experience in local church pastoral ministry, blend with his academic training and experience in Christian Ministry, Education and Psychology. Ron brings many years of "hands on" experience into some of the key areas of CWR's ministry. Ron and his wife, Jeanette, have three daughters and three young grandsons. Arriving at CWR at a time of major transition, he has found there is a great opportunity to develop and strengthen the excellent work that has been done in the CWR area of Training and Events, which he now leads.
