In 2007 former Korn guitarist Brian "Head" Welch's memoir of rock music, substance abuse, and spiritual awakening took the Christian world by storm, offering a raw and inspiring look at one musician's hard-fought journey to salvation.

Now Head gives his fans a personal guide through the Bible, presenting the passages that have meant the most to him in an open and candid 40 day devotional. He shows how he has used the Bible to make peace with his past, grow as a musician, and become a better father. Applying the Bible to his life and demonstrating how he has worked the words of the texts into his daily routine, Head offers a different kind of devotional - one that helps everyone integrate the Bible into their lives. Brian "Head" Welch was one of the founding members of Korn. In 2005, after years of struggling with substance abuse, he experienced an intense spiritual awakening that helped him overcome his problems with drugs and alcohol. He wrote about this experience in his 2007 bestselling memoir, Save Me from Myself, which was also the title of his first solo album of Christian hard rock. Today Welch lives in Arizona with his daughter Jennea.

Brian Welch

Brian "Head" Welch was one of the founding members of Korn. Raised in Bakersfield, California, Head struggled with addictions to alcohol and drugs for much of his life. In 2005, after an intense spiritual awakening, he was instantly delivered from years of substance abuse with almost no symptoms of withdrawal. At that time, he quit Korn to pursue an intimate relationship with God and a closer relationship with his daughter, Jennea. Today, he lives and prays with Jennea in Arizona.
