This second edition of Bruins's engaging history of the Third Reformed Church of Holland, Michigan, chronicles the events of twenty-five years of change since the first edition of this book was published for the church's centennial in 1970. This study continues to stand as a valuable contribution to the study of American church history and as a detailed case study of one church's effort to maintain an effective and relevant ministry to a new and continually changing culture.
