John Jefferson Davis
John Jefferson Davis (Ph.D., Duke University) is professor of systematic theology and Christian ethics at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, where he has taught since 1975. He has published for many years in both theological and scientific journals. He is the winner of several Templeton Foundation awards, including the Award for Quality and Excellence in the Teaching of Science and Religion (1998), as well as the National Institutes of Health Grant, National Human Genome Research Institute (2002)
His many books include Worship and the Reality of God: An Evangelical Theology of Real Presence (IVP Academic, 2010); The Frontiers of Science and Faith: Examining Questions from the Big Bang to the End of the Universe (InterVarsity Press, 2002); The Victory of Christ's Kingdom: An Introduction to Postmillennialism (Canon Press, 1996); Sterilization Option: A Guide For Christians (Baker, 1995); Evangelical Ethics: Issues Facing the Church Today (Presbyterian Reformed, 2006) and Christ's Victorious Kingdom: Postmillennialism Reconsidered (Baker, 1986)
