Wayne A. Meeks is Woolsey Professor Emeritus of Religious Studies at Yale University. He is the author of numerous books, including The Moral World of the First Christians, also available from Westminster John Knox Press.
Jouette M Bassler is Professor of New Testament at Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas. She is the author of numerous books on the New Testament, including the two-volume Pauline Theology, God and Mammon, Navigating Paul, Divine Impartiality and a Commentary on 1 Timothy-Titusin the Abingdon New Testament Commentary Series. Dr Bassler has been widely recognised for her work as editor of the Journal of Biblical Literature from 1995 to 1999, NRSV Harper Collins Study (Revised And Updated) and in a series of Essays The Impartial God: Essays in Biblical Studies in Honor of Jouette M. Bassler, Edited by Calvin J. Roetzel, Robert L. Foster.
Harold Attridge is Dean of Yale University Divinity School and Lillian Claus Professor of New Testament. He has made scholarly contributions to New Testament exegesis and to the study of Hellenistic Judaism and the history of the early Church. He has edited eleven books and contributed numerous chapters and articles to books and journals. He has been an editorial board member of Catholic Biblical Quarterly, the Harvard Theological Review, the Journal of Biblical Literature, and the Hermenia Commentary Series. He is active in the Society of Biblical Literature and served as its president.
