Margaret Hodges
Margaret Hodges was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated from Vassar College with honors and received a Masters in Library Science from the Carnegie Institute of Technology. After working as a childrens librarian, she was a professor at the Graduate School of Library and Information Sciences of the University of Pittsburgh. Margaret wrote numerous award-winning books for children. A majority of her work is inspired from folktales and historical figures.
