People have asked my credentials. I am a UCC clergyperson whose doctoral project was Leading the Small Church. Chaired Troy Conference (UMC) Small Church Committee, was member of United Methodist Rural Fellowship, directed Missouri School of Religion (Disciples of Christ) Small Church Program and taught as adjunct faculty for Eden Seminary (UCC) while training lay/clergy church assessment teams for Missouri Ecumenical Small Church Project. Former director of Connecticut Ecumenical Small Church Project, member of Rural and Small Church Network of North America, Association of Theological Field educators. National keynoter for most denominations' small church events. Founding editor of The Small Church Newsletter, contributing editor for Five Stones newsletter for small churches, former Worship with Real People columnist for Emphasis Magazine for Preachers (CSS). National small church consultant since 1984. Have been a small church pastor, educator, field ed supervisor, interim Regional Minister, interim/redevelopment specialist. Author of 500 shorter pieces and 9 books.
