Stephen Olford
Dr. Stephen F. Olford is the founder of the Stephen Olford Center for Biblical Preaching, in Memphis, Tennessee, where he is senior lecturer. Born in Africa of missionary parents, he received his formal education in England. In 1953 he became the Pastor of Duke Street Baptist Church, Richmond, Surrey. From 1959-1973 he was Senior Minister of Calvary Baptist Church in New York City. He has traveled the world preaching the Word in crusades and at conventions and centers of learning. He holds a doctorate in theology and has been awarded a number of honorary degrees. Olford is also the author of n
