"Through Mark's Eyes" is a retelling of the "Gospel of Mark", done in a unique way that brings Jesus to life in an immediate, visceral, compelling way. The author achieves this, not by giving us a new translation of the Gospel text, but by augmenting the text with vivid descriptions in such a way that the story reads like a novel, giving Jesus a depth and breadth that some readers may not have experienced. In a very real sense, this book illustrates the canonical Gospel as an artist might do with pictures. A study guide is included.
