Under the Shadow of the Cross

Forced to flee Jerusalem during the Arab-Israeli war of 1948, Noha's family returned to Lebanon destitute materially, but about to become rich in faith toward God.

At nine years of age Noha decided to follow the Lord Jesus Christ, and her account of His provision and guidance through her life prove the reality and wisdom of that decision.

A teacher in Lebanon, and later of Scripture in Australian schools, her love of young people is evident, as is her desire that they might share the joy she has known from having entrusted herself to God from an early age.

Weaving together a rich tapestry of events and people, Noha shares with us examples of God's gracious and powerful intervention in the lives of His people. We hear of Toufic whose obedience to God saved many from starvation; how sister Lydia built a Bible college, baby Susanna was miraculously healed and brother Raif escaped beheading.
