The wait is over! Alabaster Box is coming home with a new album fresh from the USA. Originating in Queensland’s Gold Coast in 1999, Alabaster Box soon established themselves as Australia’s premier Christian music band with a string of number one radio singles and packed shows. Since moving to Nashville in 2006, the band has played hundreds of shows across the USA including performances with Newsboys, Michael W Smith, Rebecca St James and Barlow Girl. Alabaster Box is hitting the Easterfest (AGMF) mainstage this year before a national tour with the Newsboys. “We will not be Silent” heralds a new sound for the band. As Alabaster Box’s lead singer says, “It’s bigger, better, and has a more powerful message than anything we’ve ever done”. In 2000, Alabaster Box gave up the security of full-time jobs to minister through music across Australia and New Zealand. Over the next several years, the band recorded seven #1 Australian Christian Radio hits and saw thousands receive Jesus. They've shared the stage with Michael W. Smith, Rebecca St. James and many others. "This generation needs to know of a Savior's love, and I know that we have a key role to play in that. The calling on our lives is what writes the songs and drives the bus", says Naarah.
