Compassionate Wisdom on Life-and-Death Questions In a world of high-tech medicine, the approaching death of a loved one thrusts complex decisions on many families. The dilemma is often laced with a multitude of questions few are prepared to answer-ethical, legal, medical, psychological, biblical, theological. And the result is that most families fracture-some family members want heroic lifesaving measures, others a quick end to suffering. For anyone who is struggling with these tough questions, Drs. David Clark and Peter Emmett offer biblically sound advice for a variety of end-of-life situations-from newborns and children to adults and the elderly. Step-by-step answers regarding emergency and ongoing medical options are provided. Conveying a wealth of theological, pastoral, and medical counsel, here is understandable, responsible guidance for people in crisis and their counselors.
