Jim Berg (MA, Theology, Bob Jones University) has over four decades of experience training students for campus ministry. He is currently on the faculty at Bob Jones University, teaching courses on counseling and Christian discipleship. He has published eleven books and workbooks and numerous articles in Christian periodicals. He has also run conferences for teens, couples, singles, Christian educators, and pastors. Jim is a Level 3 certified biblical counselor with the Association of Biblical Counselors.
In 2010 Jim and his wife Pat started an addiction ministry 'Freedom That Lasts' based at their home church, Faith Baptist Church in Taylors, South Carolina. Under the direction of his pastor, Dr John Monroe, Jim has also founded Faith Counseling Institute to provide biblical training for pastors and laymen.
Jim and Pat have three married daughters who are all serving with their husbands in full-time vocational ministry. They enjoy their eleven grandchildren.
