DAVID HAMILTON is the author of Deep River: A Memoir of a Missouri Farm and numerous essays that have appeared in the Connecticut, Gettysburg, Missouri, and Michigan Quarterly Reviews, North Dakota Quarterly, College English, Anglo-Saxon England, and other places. For over 25 years he has edited The Iowa Review from the University of Iowa, where he is a professor of English and director of the MFA Program in Nonfiction.
