By sharing his insights gained from studying the Bible, the author hopes to encourage Christians to continue being pilgrims - but more informed pilgrims.

Ritual or Liturgic practices, no matter how important they may be, must be an outward expression of what is real inside the individual. It is of no value at all if it is an 'imposed' action purely for sacramonial purposes."
