This book is quite simply the best of its kind that I have seen - and I have looked! As the title suggests its short and manageable. Kids will not be overwhelmed with too much information, because it's presented in "bite size" amounts. Its A5 size makes it easy to keep at hand on or near the dining table so prayer for the world doesn't get forgotten in the daily rush. The pages are brightly coloured and appealing with "Did You Know?" facts that kids will love and new words explained simply. Each page features an inspiring verse from scripture and all have photos or maps and flag pictures. There is variety too, with personal stories from certain places included from time to time. Important topics like poverty, war, and slavery are covered along with countries, world faiths and methods of communicating for evangelism like radio and the internet. Best of all its up-to-date being published in 2014. The final recommendation is that my children, aged 7 and 9, are eager to read it daily and pray through the simple points given. They will even remind me if I forget. You can't ask for more than that!
