hope when all seems hopeless
5 stars By Joy, Feb 09 2017
What a great story of how a life devastated by hate, hurt and suffering can be so affected by God's love. This is a riveting plot and the reader very early in the story feels compassion for the main person, longing for things to change and wondering if there's any hope for the main character.

Another very good book from Tracie Peterson. Very hard to put down. Believable characters and storyline interwoven with scripture.

Good
4 stars By Bri, Nov 19 2016
This book confused me at the beginning as it jumped from baby to child to teenager to adult really fast without making it clear (simply new paragraph instead of new chapter etc). At the beginning you think of Simone as pathetic, but then as the story progresses you see her character and love that shows as she is given more freedom to be herself. There isn't much of a climax, but more a journey of her heart.
