Book 1 of 2 - A story of a marriage in trouble
3 stars By Lisa, Feb 07 2014
I read this novel after Karen Kingsbury "Forever Faithful" trilogy. I was appalled at how the same phrases, bible texts themes were repeated through this 2 part story. All the characters in the "Forever Faithful" series had the same favorite bible texts and the sang the same hymn as these characters? Really? The bible is full of uplifting texts, surely Kingsbury could have dug a little deeper and found a new one. It really put me off her novels and I will not be purchasing any more. The story itself is interesting enough and would be nicer if you haven't read her other books.
