Ten-year-old prodigy Akiane Kramarik shares her artwork, poetry, and the fascinating story surrounding her talent.^Growing up in a home with an atheistic mother and a non-participating Catholic father did not stop four-year-old Akiane Kramarik from finding God. This girl's dreams began a conversation in the home that has eventually brought them all to Christianity and the world's attention. Akiane: Her Art, Her Poetry, Her Life is a collection of the best of Akiane's full-color paintings and poetry created from ages 4 to 10, along with details of her family and the amazing stories that surround each unique artwork. Already a media professional, Akiane has been interviewed on programs such as Oprah, World News Tonight, Lou Dobbs Tonight on CNN, and Schuller's Hour of Power. Akiane will be one of twenty visual artists participating in the October "Listen" event raising money for the world's needy children. Today Akiane's art is available online at www.artakiane.com.

""Today I met God." Akiane was just four years old when she made that bold announcement to her formerly faithless family. Needless to say, their lives haven't quite been the same since." "Overwhelmed by her stories of the supernatural, yet unable to find any other explanation for her indisputable artistic ability, the atheistic Kramariks faced a dilemma: either they believe her or remain in skepticism and doubt. "Where God takes me," Akiane explains, "He teaches me to paint."" "Akiane's artworks have been in many exhibitions and sell for upwards of one hundred thousand dollars. The paintings are often created in conjunction with a poem. The depth and imagery of her poetry rivals that of a laureate and their meanings at times resound with prophecy." "While most of her time is spent painting and writing about her spiritual experiences, she remains innocently unaffected by the public recognition. Instead, she chooses to focus on her life's vision: to share God's love with the world."--BOOK JACKET.

Encounter God
4 stars By DHUI, Oct 06 2016
This is a special book. When you see a God-given gift, you recognise it. The girl in this story has such an amazing talent you cannot but acknowledge it comes from God alone. What a blessing, and even more so, that at such a tender age of 8, she had already been attuned to God's voice and desired Him more than worldly possessions. The astounding result of God's blessings manifested in her life is beyond words. It has left me truly amazed by our God. Again and again!

Incredible
5 stars By Michelle, Dec 22 2015
This is an amazing story that will mess with anyone who doesn't believe in God and in particularly Jesus being the son of God! I not only love Akiane's art pieces which are truly incredible for her age of course, but also her supernatural story of how she learnt to paint. Her visions, poetry and encounters with God are beautiful, peaceful and encouraging. This book is a fantastic gift for anyone. My children have thoroughly enjoyed this book as much as I have.

A great read and witness
4 stars By Clinton, Dec 02 2010
This is a fantastic book of how God has impacted this girl from a very early age. Her gift of painting and poetry is something very special. We may not understand how God works, but in this case He did a fantastic job of gifting this girl. Her story is compelling. Her art moves from simple drawings to creative futuristic imaginations. This is worth a read, and is a book you can leave around for family and friends to read.
