Paperback

Most churches are filled with deeply compassionate people and most of our streets, workplaces, holiday locations, volunteer groups, retirement activities and schools are populated with broken people.

Alongsiders is all about bringing these two worlds together, building trust and making a difference. It's about empowering everyday God-hearted people in our churches to take up the challenge and walk alongside the broken and vulnerable for as long as needed.

Mick Duncan gives practical advice on spotting vulnerable, bypassed and needy people in your existing sphere of influence, and building a practical and loving relationship that invests in their lives over a set period.

Great for Ministry Workers
4 stars By Raj, May 25 2017
My subject "Great for Ministry Workers" is amiss. This book is great for ANYONE involved with people. I believe that's all of us. And for those who aren't, this book is to mobilise and equip the church to be there for you. So often, programs and budgets dictate how we ministry - often restrictively and without long-term goals. I've learn from here that it's as simple as coming alongside someone, and just being there. Being available, being helpful, listening and serving. Have a read!
