Peter C Hodgson (Ed)
Peter C. Hodgson, (PhD.,Yale University) is Charles G. Finney Professor of Theology, Emeritus at Vanderbilt Divinity School. Hodgsons research and teaching focus on theology. He has distinguished himself with work in both historical and constructive theology. He is a leading translator of the works of G.W.F. Hegel and the author of numerous articles and essays and of 11 books: The Formation of Historical Theology: A Study of Ferdinand Christian Baur (1966); Jesus Word and Presence: An Essay in Christology (1971); Children of Freedom: Black Liberation in Christian Perspective (1974); Christian Theology: An Introduction to its Traditions and Tasks (3rd Edition, 2008), and Winds of the Spirit: A Constructive Christian Theology. (1994).
Rebecca S Chopp (Ed)
Rebecca S. Chopp is President of Swarthmore College in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania. She is the school's first female president. She was previously President of Colgate University in Hamilton, New York. A well-known scholar of religion and American culture, Chopp has authored or edited five books and has published over fifty articles in her areas of expertise.
Mark Lewis Taylor (Ed)
Mark Lewis Taylor is the Maxwell M. Upson Professor of Theology and Culture at Princeton Theological Seminary. Among his many publications is The Executed God: The Way of the Cross in Lockdown America (Fortress Press). He is also editor of Paul Tillich: Theologian of the Boundaries and coeditor of Reconstructing Christian Theology, both from Fortress Press. He is coordinator of Academics for Mumia Abu-Jamal.
