Meet the Author

Riviere Leen La

Leen La Riviere oversees the European Continentals and chairs the International Association of Christian Artists. He is a board member of the CNV (the national federation of Christian trades unions in the Netherlands). He has stimulated the rise and development of many arts organizations and groups around Europe, is the author of several books on the arts and spirituality, and today is the driving force behind the new European Academy for Culture and the Arts, offering post-academic, modular adult-learning courses and finanaced by the EU. He was knighted by Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands in 1999 for his contributions to the cultural life of the nation and his voluntary activities in the community. Leen is married to Ria and they have three grown-up sons.
