Honestly... It's not as great as the first one.
3 stars By JC, Apr 26 2018
First it wasn't as great as the first book, the second book (this book) was all fantasy and no substance. It wasn't my favourite book, though it wasn't the worst. I would recommend it for teens and preteens. And read the first book FIRST!

Hard to put down!
5 stars By Karen, Mar 22 2018
Loved the first book "Kisses from Katie" so when i saw there was a sequel, I couldn't wait to find out what was happening now in Katie's unusual life in Africa! Katie beautifully shares with us her hurts and frustrations with God as He doesn't always answer her prayers in the ways that she is expecting or hoping for. She then shows us how she has used these broken times to actually draw closer to God. An inspirational young lady with a story of hope and encouragement for all of us.

Inspirational
5 stars By Rebecca , Mar 05 2018
This book is a follow-on to Katie's first book, "Kisses with Katie". I found this story resonates with me and was a very encouraging read. I'd recommend this as an uplifting lesson in holding on to God when life doesn't go how you think it should.

Hugs from Kate!
4 stars By Drew, Dec 11 2017
Picking up where she left off in the best-selling book 'Kisses from Katie' Katie Davis Majors shares her ongoing experiences in Uganda as the adoptive mother to thirteen girls and describes how she's wrestled through the darkness of disappointment to find the answer to whether God truly is good. Tim Keller has explored the same theme but Katie engages with it from an autobiographical recount of her life up until now. Mums would love this for Christmas but also English teachers!! Readers will recognise their own questions and doubts in Katie's descriptions of seeking evidence of God's grace in both the beauty and brokenness of life. A worthwhile read!! A great Christmas gift!!

This is the second book to "Kisses from Kate", this book continues Kate's story. She is absolutely inspirational. This book will really touch you. It made me cry at some parts. Readers will journey with Kate as she shares her stories and experiences in Uganda. It is a very well written biography and readers can share the joys and the sorrows of Kate's journey in Uganda.
