Good
4 stars By IM, Sep 16 2014
It's a good story. Well written. Not some intense that must be read in one sitting, but interesting non the less. Good for relaxing the mind without being over intense or overly boring. I liked it.

Great reading
3 stars By Jenni, Jul 04 2013
I have really enjoyed reading this book, an historic romance. The author has included many life experiences where she shows that making Godly decisions is the only way to bring joy and peace to one's life. The main character lives by strong Christian principles, and is an inspiration. I will look forward to reading the following books in this series.

Emotionally Intense
4 stars By Margot, Apr 17 2013
I enjoy historical romance novels and I very much enjoyed this one, although at times I found it almost too emotionally intense. At those times I was able to read the words and follow the story without entering into the deep emotional and spiritual analysis so much, so it didn't spoil the plot. The characters were developed nicely and came to maturity spiritually through a series of crises, mostly unexpected, to add to the drama and suspense. So often they would come through a crisis and I thought they would finally be at peace, when another drama disrupted their lives. I guess that's how real life is as our loving Heavenly Father uses circumstances to draw us to Himself and make us whole.

Well worth the effort, and I certainly look forward to the rest of the series.
